OUR MISSION IS TO FOSTER PERSONAL CONNECTIONS TO, AND STEWARDSHIP OF, OUR NATURAL WORLD
Hike through northern pine forests, bogs and wetlands on our 466 acre wilderness preserve. Dip a paddle in Spearhead Lake. Explore nature with our Young Naturalist Program (YNP). Learn how to make your own yard 'bird and pollinator' friendly...
All contributions go to programs and activities serving local chapter members, our area residents and visitors. They help improve trails and facilities at the Neilson Spearhead Center and Preserve, expand programs like YNP - our summer outdoor nature education program for youth, and allow us to offer educational events and activities to MHAS members and the general public.
Our organization is run entirely by volunteers. Your contribution of time and resources ensures that together we can protect the natural legacy of north-central Minnesota.
