2/3/2026-Preserve is Open, Winter Conditions in Effect

Lake ice appears thick and comparable to other lakes in the area; however, ice depth can vary by location and conditions. Use caution at all times when traveling on the ice.

The preserve remains open, but some trails may be impassable due to remaining hazard trees from the June 2025 storm. Trail maintenance is paused for the winter and will resume when conditions allow.

Visitors are encouraged to assess conditions carefully and check the Current Open Trails Map before visiting.
