Campers will use their senses—sight, sound, touch, and even smell—to observe nature up close. With field guides, scavenger hunts, nature journaling, and hands-on activities, kids will learn how to spot animal tracks, listen for bird calls, and understand how plants and wildlife fit together in the Northwoods ecosystem.
Trail-based games will encourage teamwork and curiosity, along with drawing, mapping, and journaling activities that help campers record what they discover.

Step into a tiny world full of BIG discoveries! In this hands‑on nature camp, kids will explore the amazing universe of insects, worms, and other small creatures that live in the soil, under logs, and in leaf litter.
Campers will be using magnifying tools, bug nets, and field journals to investigate the creatures we rarely notice but absolutely depend on. Young Naturalists will grow their confidence and curiosity, gaining a whole new appreciation for the tiny neighbors that make our natural world thrive. We will build mini bug habitats, create bug-related crafts, author new stories, play games, record nature through journaling, and sketching discoveries.
