Gene Dillon Elementary Fall Water Festival - Outreach Team

Our outreach team will be at the Fall 2026 Gene Dillon Fall Water Festival on Tuesday, October 6, at Gene Dillon Elementary. We’ll be joining students for hands-on learning about birds, water, and the connections between healthy habitats and healthy waterways.

The Water Festival brings together local organizations and educators to give fifth-grade students engaging, interactive opportunities to learn about water resources and conservation. Through Audubon Around Town, our team brings nature-based education beyond Neilson Spearhead Nature Preserve and into the community.

We’re excited to connect with the fifth-grade classes and help students discover how birds and other wildlife depend on healthy water and habitat.
