Mindful Steps: A Guided Nature Journaling Hike

Join us this summer for the Mindful Steps series, a guided nature journaling hike open to all ages!

Nature journaling is the practice of using words, sketches, and observations to document and connect with the natural world. This relaxing and engaging experience is a chance to slow down, explore your surroundings, and spark curiosity through mindful observation.

During the hike, you’ll be encouraged to use all your senses — listen to birdsong, observe plants and wildlife, feel different textures, and even notice the scents around you.

Use the provided supplies to record your thoughts, questions, discoveries, and reflections, or bring your own favorite journal to personalize the experience.

June 11, June 25, and July 9 starting at 6:30PM.

Come ready to reflect, discover, and enjoy the outdoors! Materials provided.

Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Location: Neilson Spearhead Nature Preserve

Ages: All Ages

We offer this program on a pay-what-you-can basis because we believe the outdoors belongs to everyone and removing barriers to access is a value we share. If you’re able to contribute, please know your support helps us continue offering meaningful outdoor learning experiences, like this, and grow opportunities for our community.

After you click “Register For This Workshop,” you’ll have the option to make a pay-what-you-can contribution. Suggested contribution $5-$30.
