About Walk on the Wild Side

Get outside and discover something new at Neilson Spearhead Nature Preserve. Walk on the Wild Side is a monthly guided nature walk that invites people of all ages and experience levels to explore the Preserve and connect with the natural world.

Each walk offers something different to discover, from birds and wildlife to seasonal changes, plants, tracks, and the stories of the landscape. Whether you're an experienced naturalist or simply curious about the outdoors, all are welcome. Come enjoy a walk, learn something new, and experience the Preserve with others.

Cost & Donations

Walk on the Wild Side is free and open to everyone. Donations are welcome and help support free nature programs and experiences at Neilson Spearhead Nature Preserve.
